Home/Services/Garden Maintenance

Garden maintenance

Inscape Projects caters to both residential and commercial sectors across Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Mumbai and Pune — managing everything from small urban courtyards to large-scale gardens.

What is included

Everything the garden needs, on a schedule you can plan around.

Maintenance is not one job, it is a dozen small ones done at the right time of the month. Our crews arrive on fixed days with the tools and the inputs already loaded, so nothing slips to “next visit”.

  • Complete garden maintenance
  • Lawn mowing and turf management
  • Hedging, pruning and green waste removal
  • Organic fertilising
  • Eco-friendly pest & disease control
  • Soil conditioning, composting, mulching
  • Plant knowledge, selection and supply
  • Decks, paving and outdoor furniture

Regular clients receive free ongoing consultation on recommended plant lists and improvement ideas. It is part of the service, not a billable extra.

Choosing a frequency

How often should a crew come?

A rough guide. We confirm it at the site visit, then fix it in the contract so there is no drift.

01

Fortnightly

Small residential gardens, balconies and terraces. Mowing, tidying, feeding and a health check. Works where planting is mature and low-growth.

02

Weekly

Villas, large plots, small office frontages. Keeps turf at an even height through the growing season and stops weeds establishing.

03

Daily / deployed

Campuses, hotels, hospitals, factories. A posted gardener or crew with supervisor visits — a public-facing landscape cannot look untidy on any day of the week.

The organic default

Chemicals are the exception, not the routine.

Gardens are shared with children, pets and staff who eat lunch on the lawn. We lead with organic fertilising, composting and mulching, and with environmentally friendly pest and disease control. Soil that is conditioned properly needs far less intervention in the first place.

Where a serious infestation genuinely requires a stronger treatment, we tell you what it is, why it is needed, and when the area is safe to use again.

  • Compost and mulch programmes that build soil over seasons
  • Green waste removed from site, not piled behind the hedge
  • Integrated pest management before any chemical option
  • Clear re-entry guidance whenever a treatment is applied

Questions

Garden maintenance FAQs.

Do you bring your own tools and inputs?

Yes. Mowers, trimmers, pruning tools, fertiliser and compost all arrive with the crew. You are not asked to stock a shed.

Can you take over a neglected garden?

Usually, yes. We start with a one-time restoration — cut back, de-weed, soil conditioning and selective replanting — then move onto a regular AMC from the following month.

Who supplies water?

Normally the site, from an existing connection or tank. Where irrigation is missing or failing, we can design and install it as a separate project.

What happens during the monsoon?

The work changes rather than stops. Growth accelerates, so mowing and weeding get more frequent, drainage gets checked and fungal disease watch goes up. Schedules are adjusted, not cancelled.

Is there a minimum contract period?

We prefer annual maintenance contracts because a garden responds over seasons, not weeks. Shorter terms are possible for one-off restorations and event preparation.
